Family setup guide
Everything a family needs to get started — about ten minutes, one step at a time.
Create your account
Open kinorafamilycircle.com and choose Get started. When asked, sign in with your Google account — there are no passwords to remember, and it keeps the binder private to the people you choose.
Use the same Google email every time. Invitations are tied to that exact address.
Start with the person receiving care
The welcome steps ask for the senior's information first: their full name, what they like to be called, and their date of birth. If you're setting this up for yourself, tick "I am the person receiving care".
Then add your own name and email so the care circle knows who you are.
Create the Wellness Binder
After signing in, open Wellness Binders → New binder. The senior's details are already filled in from the welcome steps. Record how you're authorized — for yourself, with their consent, or as a legal representative.
The first binder is free and includes About Me, Daily Living, Health & Safety and Home & Access. The guided 14-stage worksheets, printing and sharing are part of the Care Membership, which starts with a 30-day free trial.
Invite family and share the binder
Open the senior's binder and scroll to Sharing & permissions → Invite a family member or contributor:
- Enter their Google email — the invitation is linked to it.
- Choose their role: view only, can edit, or healthcare professional / agency coordinator.
- Pick exactly which sections they can see — medical and emergency sections for some, everything for others.
Each senior's binder includes 5 family seats and 2 professional seats. You can revoke anyone's access at any time from the same place.
What invited family members do
Ask them to open kinorafamilycircle.com, choose Care Plans → Wellness Binder, and sign in with the Google email you invited. Their invitation appears at the top of the page — one tap on Accept invitation and the binder shows under Shared with you.
Their My profile page lists every binder shared with them and the exact sections they can see.
Print and share documents
From the binder's Review & exports section, members can download PDF printouts — an emergency quick sheet, the full binder, or selected sections. These printouts are designed to serve as documentation for medical, legal and family requirements, such as records requested when preparing a will or power of attorney. They are informational records, not legal documents.
